Hey there!

I’m Aperlyno (Aper, Ap', whatever), a French self-taught artist (she/her), and I’m happy to welcome you to my little corner of the internet!

Late-diagnosed autistic with ADHD. For a long time, I tried my best to survive in a world that often felt overwhelming, until I realized that autism can also be a kind of superpower. It shapes the way I observe details, emotions, and beauty. Learning how my brain works has helped me feel happier, calmer, and more aligned with myself.

I’ve always been fascinated by animals and tried to represent them as best as I could, and over time my interests expanded to nature, cars, humans... I love to share how I see the world through my art.

Creativity has always been a big part of my life. I love making art in all kinds of ways and learning new techniques. I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember, started digital painting when I was 11, and discovered ballpoint pen drawing at 14. I've also always loved to imagining worlds and writing stories, and I’ve always dreamed of working in the animation and video games industry.

Also, you may notice I’m obsessed with raccoons. I don’t love them, I am one of them (ask my fellow raccoons ᕕ( ಠ‿ಠ)ᕗ)
